Covid 19

A message from Servucare Homecare's Ceo, Kawonia Neely
In these uncertain times, everything can feel overwhelming. News is evolving fast about coronavirus (COVID‑19) and many of us are in need of certainty and stability. It can be hard not knowing what the next hour will bring, for us or our loved ones. The safety and well-being of our clients and employees is the highest priority of Servucare Homecare.
Our business is 100 percent operational and we have prepared an operational plan to ensure we can maintain our service level, while ensuring the health and safety of all that interact with our business. We closely monitor any developments regarding Covid 19 safety measures and will implement updates as needed. Below is an overview of the safety precautions we have implemented to protect you the clients as well as our employees moving forward.
Our Commitment to Cleanliness
We take standards for hygiene and cleanliness very seriously and are taking additional steps to ensure the safety of our clients and employees. On a daily basis, the management team is vigorously working to ensure that we meet the latest guidance on hygiene and cleaning. Our health and safety measures are designed to address a broad spectrum of viruses, including
COVID-19, with a focus on hand-washing, cleaning product specifications, cleaning techniques and mask wearing guidelines as directed by the CDC and WHO.
Employee Health, Safety and Knowledge
Our team members regularly receive educational updates and training on proper precautions to help prevent further spread of COVID-19.
Here are some of the ways our staff is practicing safe Hand Hygiene: Proper and frequent hand-washing is vital to help combat the spread of viruses. In addition we supply them with gloves and hand sanitizer to use after proper hand washing has been completed. Also, in order for our staff to clock in for work, they must complete screening and provide proof of normal temperature.
Ongoing Training: In addition to our regular training, we are complete enhanced COVID-19 awareness training during orientation and continuing education on a regular basis. Our system leverages state-of-the-art technology to expedite timely communications, some of which provide daily reminders to our caregivers to conduct all safety measures such as properly washing hands and cleaning countertops with disinfectants.
Potential Exposure: Employees who exhibit COVID-19 symptoms, those who live with someone exhibiting symptoms, or anyone who has been exposed to the virus are mandated to not come to work and removed the schedule immediately. We also make the client aware of such exposure so that they may take additional precautions.
Testing: Our staff is encouraged to regularly test as well as self screen for any symptoms associated with COVID-19.
We are are closely monitoring updates from the CDC (Centers for Disease Control and Prevention) and the WHO (World Health Organization) to ensure we are swiftly adjusting and responding to changes as they happen.
